Overview

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join their team. Their engineers are the foundation of success for both customers and the business. This role is part of a high-performing team of Engineers and Architects who act as trusted advisors, delivering both pre-sales and post-sales consultation, design, and implementation support.

Cybersecurity Solutions Architects at our client bring diverse backgrounds, combining deep technical expertise with the ability to understand complex customer environments. This role also includes mentorship responsibilities and contributions to solution design, proposals, and delivery standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Partner with Solutions Architects to design and evaluate security solutions

  • Collaborate directly with customers on solution design and deployment

  • Maintain expert-level certifications within areas of specialization

  • Support strategic accounts alongside Solutions Engineers

  • Lead pre-sales design efforts and mentor post-sales implementation with engineering teams

  • Develop and maintain deployment standards across customer environments and verticals

  • Ensure best practices and standards are reflected in Statements of Work (SOWs)

  • Partner with engineering leadership to identify professional services opportunities

  • Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts

  • Review and validate project scopes with leadership

  • Contribute to Bills of Materials (BoM), SOWs, and technical proposals

  • Perform additional duties as needed

They bring experience across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud security environments, along with a strong understanding of IT operations and business strategy.

Candidates should have a broad understanding of multiple security domains, with advanced to expert-level proficiency in at least one:

  • Security Frameworks (CIS, NIST, etc.)

  • EDR / XDR / NDR

  • SIEM and logging

  • SOAR and security automation

  • SecOps / DevSecOps

  • OT / IoT Security

  • Incident Response

  • Vulnerability Management

  • Firewalls / IPS

  • Network Access Control (NAC)

  • Application Security / WAF

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)

  • Identity & MFA

  • Cryptography / PKI

  • Managed Detection & Response (MDR)

  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise security solutions

  • Strong technical project management and documentation skills

  • Experience mentoring and onboarding engineers

  • 8+ years of relevant experience

  • Expert-level certifications in cybersecurity domains

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant industry certifications
